This portable, collapsible BBQ can be used at home on the patio, or be taken out on the road during your camping or motor-homing adventures! The primary use is for cooking, but the grill can be removed turning it into a fire pit for cosy evenings in the outdoors. Assembly takes a few minutes to slot the parts together and the same steps taken in reverse will dismantle it. When securely stacked into one unit it is ready for transportation after use. The BBQ includes an optional, removable rack on the side as a useful addition for cooking or warming.
We recommend cleaning the cooking parts before use to remove any residual oil with soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. Rinse and dry thoroughly, then season with a thin coating of cooking oil only on the cooking grills before use. You may want to perform a test cook.
Check your BBQ/pit is situated on a level, non-flammable base and is stable before use. As ash may escape through the bottom, ensure the BBQ is situated on a suitable surface, or use a tray that can be emptied and cleaned after.
This robust product is made from mild steel in the UK and if left outdoors will rust with exposure to the elements. Be aware that this may cause rust stains on the ground if left out for any period of time in wet conditions.
*Safety advice - please handle the BBQ/pit with heat resistant gloves and allow to fully cool after use before touching or moving. Also exercise extreme caution when the BBQ/pit is alight, supervising children and pets.
